In das pelzige Gewand von Kaiser Friedrich III. schlüpft Tobias Moretti. Eine ?unheimlich wichtige Figur? (Prochaska), und doch nur eine Nebenrolle für den Mann aus Südtirol, auf die sich Moretti aber angeblich zügig eingelassen habe. ?An Tobias Moretti führte einfach kein Weg vorbei?, betont der Regisseur.
Dans la robe de fourrure de l'empereur Frédéric III, se glisse Tobias Moretti. Un "personnage extrêmement important" (Prochaska), et pourtant seulement un rôle mineur pour l'homme du Tyrol du Sud, mais que Moretti aurait accepté rapidement. " Il n'y avait simplement aucun moyen de passer à côté de Tobias Moretti" explique le réalisateur.
